Accountant

Job Description:

Our client, a publicly traded, stable company in the Boca area is looking to add an Accountant to their team. This person must have experience with GL, month end close, reconciliations and consolidation. If you are a team player who is analytical and detail oriented, please apply. salary: $85,000 - $90,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations and detailed account analysis of general ledger accounts to ensure they properly reflect the company's financial position and results in accordance with company policy and GAAP
• Assist in ensuring that the company's revenues and expenses are correctly reported and classified in accordance with GAAP
• Assist in the monthly consolidation process, which includes lperforming diagnostic procedures to ensure data were properly loaded and review elimination entries
• Prepare, develop and/or analyze various financial reports for use by management, including the ability to analyze and interpret trends and effectively communicate to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field preferred
• 4 years of recent accounting experience, combination of public/private accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field preferred
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
• Manufacturing and distribution environment a plus

• Consolidations (3 years of experience is required)
