The Business Operations Planner, working in Business Support Services, applies analytical methodologies and tools to enhance customer routing, pricing, volume, and programs to ensure optimal operations and customer service levels. This involves creating and implementing new routing plans and continuously monitoring their productivity. The Business Analyst is also responsible for database management and accurately maintaining records for all customers and products used within the company. This professional also serves as the main point of contact for any authorized database modifications, ensuring that the right adjustments are executed smoothly. In addition, the Business Analyst is responsible for overseeing the implementation and monitoring of commission plans and beverage agreements for customers.

  • To maximize the efficiency of business routes, it's crucial to work with sales teams and adapt routing methods to correspond with the seasonal variations in demand from customers.
  • Opt for routing solutions that are in line with DOT regulations concerning weight and hours of service to ensure seamless transportation operations.
  • Investigating how commission modifications affect alterations to routes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of software routing and utilization using custom management reports.
  • Ensure the compliance with routing solutions after the session ends utilizing different reporting options.
  • Build rapport by showing a genuine interest in finding solutions and making the routing implementation process as smooth and seamless as possible.
  • Partner with vendors to gather user feedback and conduct continuous testing to ensure software compatibility with business processes.
  • Offer guidance and support to sales staff who may face challenges during the transition.
  • As an assistant, it is important to ensure that the company's database information is always updated and accurate. This includes keeping records of customers, vendors, products, and routes.
  • Accurate data entry of case volume in the sales system is pivotal in ensuring that incentives, commissions, and funding allocation are properly distributed.
  • Recording commissions with utmost precision in the payroll report is necessary to avoid any discrepancies in future calculations.
  • Submit reports to external parties and send funding requests as per your assigned responsibilities.

Work Environment:

  • The work environment is moderately noisy because of manufacturing.
  • Working hours are determined by schedules and the season, typically ranging from 7 am to 5 pm. Over a standard workweek of Monday to Friday, the employee works for approximately 40 to 45 hours. On some occasions, additional hours may be needed, and travel will be required, but no more than 10%. Additionally, one week out of every six weeks, the employee will be on call for assistance.
