Location: Houston, Texas

Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 per year

Job Summary:

Engineering Director needed for an immediate opening in Houston TX. This person will play a critical role in a large electronics environment leading team members skilled in Quality Engineering, Test Engineering, Process Engineering and Electrical Engineering. This is an exciting opportunity build AI and Machine learning capabilities in a large, fast paced environment. In order to be successful in this role candidates will need to work closely with internal stakeholders and clients. Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities:

• Lead the Engineering, Process Improvement and Quality organization by setting clear expectations and objectives, and managing performance accordingly.

• Define and oversee the full lifecycle of projects from ideation through deployment and ongoing monitoring.

• Manage supplier quality assurance programs and evaluate supplier performance.

• Partner with Senior Leadership to set strategic direction and adapt priorities based on customer requirements and corporate goals related to quality and operational efficiency.

• Plan, manage, and prioritize project schedules, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Develop and implement robust engineering processes, standard operating procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations for customers and internal stakeholders.

• Forecast and manage capital and labor budgets for the engineering organization, identifying and driving productivity improvements.

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, including senior engineers and managers.
